Fensterstock & Partners LLP was formed in April 1998 to provide the business community with an alternative to large law firm representation in complex commercial matters. With the ever increasing merging of major law firms and the concomitant conflicts issues which plague the business community, in 1998, Blair Fensterstock had the vision of establishing a commercial litigation boutique with the requisites of any major firm in the world but the efficiencies of a small, unified and efficient litigation team. So it was established and so it has flourished.

Starting with four lawyers, Blair Fensterstock has succeeded in building the firm to its present size and locating it at 30 Wall Street, home of the first Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, and right next to the Federal Building. In 2007, Fensterstock & Partners first saw its name on a brass plaque on the outside of the building soon after winning the liability trial in the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing cases, and successfully prosecuting various major tax shelter cases against the large international banking institutions, accounting firms, and law firms which promoted the abusive tax shelters. In April 2009, we added to our depth of trial capability and geographic scope by establishing Fensterstock & McDonald in Fort Worth, Texas.

The firm has successfully litigated in London, the Hague, in multiple jurisdictions around the United States, before the American Arbitration Association, JAMS, the London Court of International Arbitration, and in Brazil. Focusing on complex litigation has resulted in a team approach at the firm on every case. The firm has received multiple accolades from clients calling them, for example, David versus Goliath and Robin Hood. Be it in the areas of intellectual property, representation of executives in non-competition, non-solicitation, and trade secret matters, terrorism, accounting malpractice, insurance, reinsurance, securities, import-export matters, contractual disputes, complex construction disputes, tax shelter litigation, defamation, or other areas of complex commercial litigation, the Fensterstock team enjoys what it does and that enjoyment shows itself in results.
